La Crosse, WI – December 4, 2024 – Marine Credit Union is pleased to announce a significant leadership transition that will further strengthen its commitment to the La Crosse community and beyond. Tom Knothe has been appointed as the new President and CEO, effective January 2025. Tom succeeds Darrick Weeks, who has accepted a new career opportunity as President and CEO of Purdue Federal Credit Union.
Tom Knothe, a long-standing member of the Marine Credit Union Board of Directors, brings over 16 years of experience with the credit union, including serving as interim CEO in 2021. His deep roots in Wisconsin and particularly in the La Crosse community position him as an ideal leader to guide Marine Credit Union into its next chapter.

Anne Snow, the newly elected Board Chair, has been a dedicated member of the Marine Credit Union Board since 2018. Anne has extensive experience in non-profits and foundations, including serving as the Executive Director of the Children’s Museum of La Crosse for 28 years. Her leadership and community involvement have made a significant impact on the La Crosse area, fostering strong connections and supporting numerous local initiatives.
